Our velvety herbal hand soaps combine calendula with the healing and soothing powers of comfrey to gently, but thoroughly cleanse and moisturize hands without the use of harsh chemicals.

PURE INGREDIENTS
Purified Water, Moon Valley Organic Calendula, and Moon Valley Organic Comfrey infused in oils of Organic Coconut and Organic Sunflower, Potassium Hydroxide*, Organic Castor oil, Organic Mint, Organic Lavandin, and Organic Lavender essential oils. That’s it!
*None remains after saponification of oils into soap and glycerin.

"I love everything about Moon Valley Foaming Herbal Hand Soaps. They save water, because the soap comes out foamy and you can wash your hands completely without even having to get them wet. You just need water to rinse when you are finished. I love the fragrances and Mint/Lavender is a favorite. I love the refill pouches because they enable me to re-use the plastic dispenser and they are concentrated so they last a long time. Very happy with this product."

- Are the refill pouches recyclable?
- Hi there! First off, we want to thank you for your consideration about the health of our planet! While the bags are not recyclable, now that plastic recycling has become more difficult since Asia has stopped taking our plastic waste. The pouches take up a small footprint, less weight for transportation to get to us, plus to a more viable option to ship out to our customers because it takes less energy to produce a pouch than bottle: One pallet of plastic pouches = 1 semi-trailer of plastic bottles = less fuel consumption in transport. The plastic pouches have been shown to be recyclable, we just need to find the plants that will recycle pouches. Since we use the pouch as a refill that contains a concentrate that is worth 3 bottles of our hand soap, it does help the environment in that regard. We still haven't reached our goal to be more sustainable with our refill options, however we are actively researching this. We value all our loyal customers and their feedback, so we work hard to bring balance to all angles. Moon Valley is constantly seeking better options, but at this time, this is all we could get through our current vendor; COVID19 has changed the supply chain industry quite a bit. Our founders must fight the good fight to receive the packaging and materials we need, and to have safe shipping options for our products; they won’t stop their mission to be organic and as sustainable as possible.
